NE 112th near 23rd in Vancouver will be closed for several hours as police investigate a fatal crash that involved two pedestrians. I had a back-and-forth with a reporter on this recently. He used the "the driver remained at the scene and co-operated with police" line. I said this wasn't news, that it would be news if the driver left the scene, and that he was just padding his story. He did not take it well.

@VancouverUS or@ClarkCoWA jurisdiction? And, are there any dept of transportation plans to make this stretch safe waiting on the shelf? thanks -
It's within the Vancouver city limits. I'd be curious if the city had any plans to do any real work on this road as it has been grossly neglected for decades.
