Timely reminder by that 2016 Brexit vote not fully explained by class, age, levels of deprivation or the 'losers of globalisation' narrative. Instead identity was key, specifically Englishness.

So unless you’re a racist you’re a pseudo conservative. Glad that’s all sorted...

So the way to combat anti-semitism is to smear British muslims in the most disgusting way, and accuse Labour of the most hideous calculating racism? This is appalling beyond words

The problem with this rather excitable fringe of hard-left Labour supporters is not that they are anti-semitic but that they suffer from delusion. Corbyn should disown their arguments and urge them to shut up!

The tone, language and attitude in this article is offensive and arrogant. Brexit is no battle or war, much less a “victory” to whom all must “surrender”. A bad idea is a bad idea, and always will be.

Excellent article on NI border question. Encouraging that most young people in NI no longer identify as nationalist or unionist. But shocking that some unionists like openly admit that, for them, Brexit is a tool to "demolish" GFA.

I fear that Brexiteer outrage over the blue passports contract being awarded to a French company is a taste of things to come... a country where nationalist sentiment trumps rational economic (and political) choice.

She was rightly challenged by other panelists who said that closing the door on Europe/free movement doesn’t open up any doors in the rest of the world. Idea that EU free movement limits immigration from rest of world was always false.

She also said it’s not because of any EU rules or restrictions. She’s absolutely right.

Needlessly provocative and misleading headline from The Times “France defies May over Russia”. Not clever to conjure up a row with France when there isn’t one.

Apols, phone lines are back up and I've spoken to the manager at King's Cross. All fine!

What's up I made a booking yesterday and have been trying to call today to amend it but your phone lines are dead (the London King's Cross branch and the national line). Hopefully just a temporary problem??

Is Boris freelancing again? Or is this a precursor to what will become government policy?

Hammond just said any deal without FS would not be fair to UK and thus might not happen. Quite big statement.

President Trump said: ‘trade wars are good and easy to win’. But the truth is trade wars are bad and easy to lose. EU’s goal is to keep world trade alive and if necessary to protect European by proportionate responses.

Transition time will be needed to negotiate future relationship. Current Art 50 negotiations will only result in political declaration on future relationship, no details

Brexit has a cost, to both sides in the negotiation. A no deal outcome would mean that cost is higher, in fact the highest
