Is the Matt Hancock affair the UK equivalent of Anthony Fauci emails? Both Hancock & Fauci were major forces for lockdown in countries where powerful political factions are pushing for an end to pandemic restrictions.

They’ve promised an end half a dozen times to no avail. They’ve no intention of ending it.
i'm also pessimistic, but the only real explanation for promises like this, is as a response to political pressure from some corner.
