“Chinese bioweapon” isn’t an argument for universal vaxx. This theory, and the broader lab-origins thesis under which it falls, are however reasons to be extremely cautious about every aspect of the response. Including insane hysterical vaccine drives.https://twitter.com/stoneagenathan/status/1408112369620992002 …

I'd be more cautious about the shit that almost certainly escaped from the lab and has so far killed millions and fucked up the bodies and brains of many millions more vs. a 1 in a million chance of getting myocarditis that in most cases quickly resolves.

it’s not just about the myocarditis, bro. we’re talking about one of various side effects, in a drive to vaccinate everybody against an illness with a very age-stratified risk profile (why?), where reports on adverse reactions are being widely suppressed/ ignored (why?) …

… after 14 months of draconian mass containment policies that have for the most part proven wildly ineffective and yet are still pursued as now the guiding political doctrine of the west (why?)… on and on. Some evil is happening here but the actual virus is like 5% of it.

I don't agree with shutdowns. Maybe just bars and indoor dining with poor ventilation.

after spending billions of euros and deploying the bundeswehr to contact trace, we know not even bars or poorly ventilated dining have anything to do with this. Here’s a mystery: 1) How is it actually spreading? Nobody interested in this.

Here’s another one: 2) Why is the parallel yet totally independent hospital /nursing home pandemic (the source of all the mortality) never addressed by any government policies, even remotely, at all?

Nursing homes are about half of the fatalities in the U.S. Contact tracing has found bars to be particularly problematic.https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/08/14/902271822/13-states-make-contact-tracing-data-public-heres-what-they-re-learning …

I don’t know how to interpret the US data. In Germany, you’re required to give contact details basically everywhere you go. Work, school, restaurants, clubs, gym. No voluntary withholding, substantial penalties for lying. I’ve posted extensively about this data.

The whole gastro scene is negligible. It’s one of the least common infection categories. Most infections before vaxx were part of what seems to be a nursing home / hospital independent pandemic cycle. Then you have household infections. Distant third is workplace …

… hard to tell what’s happening, but it seems to be things like meat packing plants or other industrial contexts. Everything else (school gastro recreation) is just not important, evidenced by the fact that when they shut these down it does basically zero to the infection curve

We've kind of gone off topic. I agree with you on lockdowns. At this point it should be on people to get vaccinated, limit occasions/mask up when inside public places, or just accept the risk of catching COVID.
