The most important question for the near future of Germany, is how much longer the same several dozen people can proceed with losing their minds every day in print & on TV, in the process driving policy, while the thing over which they are panicking continues never to happen.

for the true believers, yes. but the broader bureaucratic system is another matter, i‘d say.

I very strongly believe that this specific system remains stable as long as comfort can be achieved within it and in my experience bureaucrats are very comfortable with the current situation
