      How can any establishment figure or 'expert' in the West be trusted when they can't even 1: Look at these graphs and see the absurdity 2: Look at the police state of China & call it what it is 3: Look at all the errors they've already made and acknowledge their mistakes

      An important question, is to what extent these data are just heavily massaged or totally fictional. It looks almost like these graphs were dreamed up to show maximum & immediate lockdown efficacy. Those were early days, the public was a lot more naive.

      Things like incubation period, the significance of the reproduction number & its development over time, how lockdowns would theoretically increase household transmission (so any true effect would be at substantial delay): nobody knew any of this back then.

      This was being talked about on Reddit (in a quarantined and probably now deleted sub) at the time, with the assumption that they were vastly underestimating numbers. Someone figured out the algorithm that was used and was correctly predicting numbers before they were released.
