Why do they want vaccinations (sodomizations)?

they‘re legitimately afraid of the virus, is the simplest explanation. a) many of them knew it was a lab leak, scary in itself; and b) the earliest infections were disproportionately in elite-adjacent demographics, so they were alarmed.

But there are effective treatments for covd. That should be enough for them not to worry anymore

They want to eradicate it forever, and are worried that if treatment is an option, populations will be less interested in eradication.
