They paid apothecaries 6 Euro per mask, while the wholesale price of the plummeted to as little as 0,40 Euro. Is this just incompetence? I've never seen this discussed anywhere, but in Jan/Feb, you heard about kids receiving these things, teenagers, totally healthy people Even *I* got a letter from the government saying I had been identified as "vulnerable" and was entitled to make these subsidised purchases.
You would be forgiven for thinking they wanted to move as many of these subsidised masks as possible and pour the maximum amount of health ministry funds into the apothecaries.
