The selfish & feckless people, are the boomers who house-arrested all of Germany for 7 months on the basis of petty fears, & now that they believe they are achieving the same risk-level as youngs (via vaxx), no longer support the ZeroCovid policies that before were The Only Way. https://twitter.com/skepticalzebra/status/1402244492548259845 …

It's truly a shame that the <35 crowd didn't have the intelligence to collectively revolt and treat this infection with the disdain it deserved. But such is life, those who don't stand up for what is right will fall by their own hand. Not to mention they were-

Dumb enough to fall for the most basic grift. A simple cost-benefit analysis: 99% chance of being okay 0.5% chance of death vs 100% chance of economic decline, loss of civil rights, human rights, govt bailouts to billion and trillion dollar industries. The youngs are dumb.

It was hard in March. Youngs did resist at first. Hard to keep that up, with state media saying you‘re killing Oma every evening, and major papers taking pictures of students hanging out at picnic sites under headlines like THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE GENERATION?

On top of it nobody really knew what the story was then. Maybe it really was deadly? Afterwards, it‘s been hard to build a resistance to this thing. It always seems to be starting (fall) or ending (winter). The myth is that it’s temporary; nobody gets it‘s not going anywhere.

You are right. It was very easy to divide and conquer people when they were forced to lockdown by the newly activated Police States. Millenials have been dissed since ~2008 by the media, you'd think it would give them some backbone but I guess you're born with one or not.

That's a fair point, but I think the intergroup pressure is what did it in the end. Most people are conformists and will fold rather than face down the mob, even when the mob is just shouting mean things. They should have given authorities those 2 weeks and nothing more.
