Well, so long as the outbreak didn’t start anywhere near the coronavirus lab, I’m open to the Pangolin gambit.
the way all these leaks happen, is the researchers become infected and transmit the virus to their contacts outside the lab. the first known infections aren‘t at the facility, they‘re wherever the researchers‘ contacts go shopping or live or whatever.
