Did these videos irreparably damage the reputation of the nursing profession?https://twitter.com/irritatedwoman/status/1401380973049266178 …

Something I'm curious about: is there any way to sanction nurses who post videos of themselves dancing in hospitals? You'd think that would be a huge no-no

many of these videos, particularly the more recent ones, seem to be arranged and in some cases even choreographed by the hospitals.

Their origins are very curious. The earliest to appear came out of Iran, as deaths were peaking there in March. These were reported in mainstream Western media. Then America became the centre for these videos, starting roughly in early April.

Thereafter they became increasingly official and choreographed, for example like this one (from Nov). The idea was taken over by public relations staff and the like.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D24X3tRuaXA …

My totally unsupported theory is the original March/April dance videos, many of them by ICU staff, were some kind of twisted psychological reaction to the mass-death-by-ventilator treatment protocols.
