it’s fine to throw out ideas and theories about a developing story but when early assessments become untenable you have to be flexible enough to drop them. i just can’t believe he’s still running with this.

His "evidence" is remarkably weak (I mean, the fact that US military personnel visited Wuhan for the Military World Games in Oct 2019 is offered as a major piece of evidence?). That said, I guess it's possible, albeit a very convoluted scenario

I should add that I'm not entirely convinced "China did it" either. It's just disturbing that Unz is so quick to paint all of China's actions in the best possible light, every time
