I‘m not saying it‘s the whole Corona phenomenon, but if broad sectors of the population, the clueless journalists who inform them, and health bureaucrats could stop being wrong about simple, verifiable things all the time, it would go a long way towards fixing this.
Week to week, I waver between „it is deliberate propaganda, pay it no mind“ and „they really are that stupid, this is a catastrophe“. It‘s both, probably, but god most of this stuff is not very hard, can nothing be done about the relentless, bottomless idiocy of it all.
