So the passive-aggressive "I hope you're fully vaccinated" seems to be a fixed convention of Anglophone correspondence now. I wonder, when this hysteria is over, if they'll return to insincere well-wishing, or merely start inquiring about the boosters.

The preferred tactic seems to be denying access to younger relatives until vaccination. I dislike all the little rats that are related to me so that won't work.

they've gotten so overt and ridiculous, it must be a powerful temptation even for many vaccinated to keep it a total secret and tell all these people they're not just to piss them off.
