I feel that the phenomenon of Asian grils (not immigrants, straight from Asia) dressed up in flamboyant bridal gowns posing for photographs in front of random buildings and fountains in European cities remains under-explained.

Often one finds them posing in front of truly strange things. Gril I just walked past literally being photographed against the backdrop of after-work traffic on the Ludwigsstr.

I think that suggests younger, more cosmopolitan Asians are developing self-consciousness about being photographed in front of cliché tourist attractions and are reaching for some sort of pseudo-authenticity, like American hippies hanging out in a filthy SE Asian border town
