Long Covid Kids is a scam everybody, and Long Covid itself, when it's not about pulmonary damage from pneumonia and/or ventilation, is at best reduced sense of smell, various psychological symptoms arising from the prolonged social isolation of lockdown ("brian fog") ...
... and the standard fibromyalgic ailments of middle-aged women, which fill the same function in the early 21st century, as hysteria filled in the late 19th.
Nah long covid exists and i have it, but it's covered in middleaged women insanities etc
I had Covid in March 2020. For about 8 months afterwards I could not smell very well. I was also tired for a time, and it took me several months to fully recover my aerobic fitness (I am runner). Similar things I noticed after the flu, recovery just took longer in this case.
I lost smell for like 4 days and i recovered it fairly quickly. I never had much stamina but i have way less now. And i feel perma-cold (like i need 3-5 celsius more than usual to feel "right"). Never had anything of the sort with the flu tbh
could I ask, about how long it's been since your infection?
4 months, but the strange thing was that 6-8 weeks ago these symptoms were almost all gone then they resurfaced
what do I know, I am an internet anon, but these sound very much like symptoms of anemia, which I've had now and again as a result of distance training. especially the cold.
some runners eat a lot of chicken livers, for me ordinary iron supplements from the apothecary worked fine. of course the doctors will also prescribe something and confirm after blood test.
Fingers crossed!! It appears distance athletes seem to get hit harder, at least from my casual observations. I wonder if it's an inverse relationship to this:https://academic.oup.com/ntr/article/23/5/880/6007007 …
there’s also evidence endurance training beyond a certain point suppresses immune function
