I had Covid in March 2020. For about 8 months afterwards I could not smell very well. I was also tired for a time, and it took me several months to fully recover my aerobic fitness (I am runner). Similar things I noticed after the flu, recovery just took longer in this case.
Sounds a lot like Gulf War Syndrome.

What I really want now is a study of the frequency of nonspecific fibromyalgic-type complaints, before and after the pandemic. you'd expect them to go down, now that a new Long Covid diagnosis is available.
