Germany now pretends to open, while imposing such onerous restrictions on public life (ridiculous capacity restrictions, mandatory appointments at places like fitness studios, antigen tests required everywhere) that nobody will bother and the de facto lockdown can continue.

This is obviously intentional; the purpose is to blunt opposition to containment while continuing the measures for as long as possible. All the vulnerable have long since been vaccinated. The healthcare system is well within capacity. What was the purpose of lockdown again?

there‘s team lockdown that wants indefinite seasonal house arrests, and there‘s team vaxx, that wants annual vaccinations. right now team vaxx has the upper hand. vaccinations are eating into the political support for team lockdown. all the retirees think they’re safe now.

Why do you think we are not getting any major players speaking out primarily for individual rights and freedom? Why has the subject of government overreach been relegated to kooks and "conspiracy theorists"?

I was introduced to the concept while listening to Michael Malice. I still don't know why we have 0 prominent advocates for individual rights. You'd think just one person would have an interest in shining a light on that.

I admit the US-Americans have really come through on this. I‘ll admit I had a very cynical view of American ‚freedom‘ rhetoric, I suspected it was superficial. I‘ve been proven totally wrong on that, their country functions substantially differently from the rest of the west.
