So this Drosten has a media presence and influence like Fauci, but is not a gov't scientist ?
He’s the closest equivalent we have to Fauci. Virologist at a major Uni hospital in Berlin, he advises the Merkel gvt inofficially, & he has this high-profile Corona public radio podcast, where every offhand thing he says becomes headlines the next day.
