I'm not trying to be contrarian, but I really do believe that people are looking at the fuel outages wrong. Oil is still less per barrel than it was during Obama, but our infrastructure is incredibly fragile.

In the short run this isn't the end of the world, there are tools to avoid the worst of it if a state of emergency is declared. Why the supply chain was so fragile to begin with is a long term concern.

This precisely. I try not to bring attention to it, but AFAIK they never caught whoever caused that blackout in CA a few years back (not giving more details). I don't think things wobble too soon, but they can't go on like this long term.

yeah, thanks. read a few pieces that it wasn’t true at all, and some of the local news websites won’t load because dumb EU privacy laws.
