If you have to to present medical credentials to enter street shops or cafes, all of these businesses will disappear. It’s a double blow, on top of the never-ending home office recommendations, which likewise deprive all these places of customers.

Street-level retail has *never* been associated with super-spreading events, and extensive contact tracing never located a significant number of outbreaks to gastro. Either the people in power understand this and don’t care, or they’re total idiots.

Studiously ignored here in DE. I believe Wieler (head of RKI = our CDC) was confronted with Texas at a press conference a few weeks ago. Mumbled something about totally different demographics, or whatever. International examples only count towards lockdown, not against it.
