Yeah, @LLinecook nailed it. NYC had 600%+ excess mortality during a week last spring. Couldn't replicate those numbers if you tried. There's 0 doubt in my mind early excess in the younger demo was iatrogenic homicide of the worried well. Haven't seen it since.
