In my occasional communication with old American colleagues, I am more and more wished a speedy vaccination, in place of the usual generic good tidings. I really hate this and sooner or later I will start telling each and every one of these people to go f*ck themselves.

It's a further step towards formalization of their religion, unfortunately, and must proceed.

You are more the expert here, but my hope is that this is an unstable para-religion soon to be upset and replaced by another.

As almost happened with Floyd, or that was my impression. Granted, what comes next might be worse, but it might also be something benign like gardening.

I believe that they will either continue to iterate into a singularity (full on cultural revolution) or be stopped and forced to formalize. Once there's a formal structure, the original definitions of things can be altered all necessary.

If the science says that vaccines cause more harm than they prevent, it's trivial for the religion to requires vaccines in a way that aren't vaccines.
