Old news by now: 1 in 100k Israelis have developed myocarditis, mostly in connection with 2nd Pfizer shot Cases concentrated in men 18-30, people at essentially no risk from Corona. It feels like every day, vaxx looks like a worse & worse deal for youngshttps://m.jpost.com/health-science/covid-19-israel-finds-possible-link-between-vaccine-myocarditis-cases-666237/amp?__twitter_impression=true …

"Just 1 in 100K? Miniscule odds, totally worth it." -People who aren't young

-also people who vastly overestimate the risk of Corona to young people. If you think 1/100k (it’s actually much worse for the 18-30 age group) is minuscule odds you‘ll feel even better about an 18 year-old getting the actual virus.

you guys realize that myocarditis is a super common symptom of covid for young people right? it's ironic you're boogey-manning the thing which you're simultaneously trying to trivialize

yes. A long time ago, a report came out that myocarditis was a lot more common. Since then it has been refuted. Regardless, I see 1.4% myocarditis rate for young ppl with covid. Thats way larger odds than the 1/100K figure you're shaking about

one figure is based on screening studies, the second is based on severe adverse reactions reported to health authorities. help me understand why you think these two figures admit of comparison.
