      as a child I was always a fish fanatic, thrilled about Fridays. it’s never left me. It feels vaguely impious but I don’t care.

      I had a short period in my adolescence when shrimp were the only seafood I would eat. Drove my mom nuts. I got over it eventually.

      Of the two things I like to eat most in the world, white fish and also Saiblinge (not sure about the English here) are among them. Shrimp too though.

      Species in the genus Salvelinus are called "char(r)" or "trout" in English. Though what you call "Forelle" we also call "trout."
