And where are you getting these numbers. If 6/100k drop dead ( they wont) it would still be worth it. Read about people with long covid, it will ruin your life.

how common is long covid in healthy men 18-30

About 1 in 10 of all people, less so for the young most likely, but let's say it's 1/100, it would still be way worse. Watch Myles Garrett gasping for air after running, and that's a young world class athlete.https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/the-tragedy-of-the-post-covid-long-haulers-2020101521173 …

So that harvard health blog appears to cite only one actual study, where they interviewed people 2-3 weeks after positive PCR test results and found that 35% still hadn't returned to baseline health. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7392393/ …pic.twitter.com/yoznVnUsPi

All the long covid stuff is like this, vague inflated claims gathering the usual pool of fibromyalgia-adjacent symptoms under the umbrella of "long covid" and padding out the numbers with people who still have lingering feelings of exhaustion 2-3 weeks later ...

That's 2-3 weeks after testing negative for the virus, and it's not it's not lingering feelings, it's "I have to take a break walking up the stairs". Myles Garrett gets lung therapy 4x daily for the sake of his livelihood, but you say he just has fibromyalgia? Please.

No, 2-3 weeks after a positive test result. And we all have anecdotes, but if you think 1/10 people are on lasting oxygen therapy after recovering from Corona, you are wrong.pic.twitter.com/WWrEahO2x2

What myles garrett is going through is not the same as hand pain that bored housewives get, that's my point. Fibromyalgia doesnt cause breathing problems as far as I know.

trying again ... Long Covid is more than pulmonary damage from Corona infections (caused by viral pneumonia). People citing big numbers, like you, are talking mostly about chronic-fatigue-syndrome fibromyalgia-adjacent symptoms. Otherwise you don't have big scary numbers.
