Long Covid Kids - and all other efforts to exaggerate the danger Corona poses to children - are about rigging the cost-benefit equation to clear the way for child vaccinations.
I wouldn’t say any are absolutely necessary. Corona vaxx: The elderly and at-risk have good risk-reward ratios, let them have it if they want it. Increasingly, everyone else, it looks doubtful that it‘s a good idea.

I think taking covid vaccine is still a good idea if you, as me, want to visit your grandparents frequently. And it is free, at least for now (well, paid from your taxes, but you don't pay for it directly contrary to flu shots)
