I think some of this is known. A friend’s college student child had the jab (!) and tested+ within 2 days. She was sent home for a week, then allowed to return. Sadly, my friend is convinced she caught Covid at a gathering a week earlier and the vax “saved her” just in time.
How ridiculous. Did she have symptoms or was it only a positive test, do you know? I've also heard stories, but this crucial detail is often hard to pin down.

Hard to know. She did get sick, but it was not serious. My friend told me the story backwards and in pieces, like a guilty child. I learned of the jab towards the end. Really pissed me off.
