An amazing thing about ZeroCovid, is how so much of what they argue means the opposite of what they think it does Take aerosolised transmission. The are whole corners of twitter that rant about this all the time because they think it means we have to be THAT MUCH MORE CAREFUL...

@AddDon4 just triggered my pet peeve. That's not what viral load means. Call it "initial infectious dose" (which BTW there is no evidence actually matters and if you take a simple mental model of how the immune system detects infections you'd see why that is the case) -
Key concept 1: Infectious pathogens multiply exponentially on the cellular level. To take viruses, they squirt their DNA into your cell, your cell produces hundreds new viruses, then they explode out of the cell and go infect more cells.

I think masks at best can slow that buildup in a room so what would take, say, 10 minutes of being in a room w/o mask to build up a high enough dose for transmission might take 15 minutes with a mask. But open enough windows and there will be no build up to make masks worthwhile.

Even without accounting for nebulization masks INCREASE aerosols. Why? Because they make the wearer take deeper breaths to maintain homeostasis since they're rebreathing CO2 (this is all proven beyond a shadow of a doubt) So it will make the room fill up faster not slower
