from 7-9 April, Germany administered over 2 million doses, 1,7+ million of them first doses — over 2% of the entire population in 3 days. cases until that point had begun a slight decline, completely on schedule with the spring decline last year. now they‘re exploding.

I read somewhere that the eight days after first dose is when the chances of getting infected are the highest. Seems the modelling is on point!
