yes, that‘s my view anyway. growing divergence since the BLM protests last summer.

ultimately the UK will opt out too I think, leaving the EU (dominated by Germany) as ground zero for western lockdown policies — at least until we can dismantle and replace the regimes that support this.

Unfortunately some of Asia is more like Germany with the misguided faith in lockdowns and restrictions on movement and social activities (India, Philippines, HK/Singapore to a degree, China, Thailand at the beginning but maybe now not so much)
