Today the RKI reports 9.677 new infections in Germany. Last week it was over 17k. The 7-day incidence falls to 110. Reduced holiday testing is no longer an excuse. Infections are declining exactly on cue, in the first week of April, as they also did last year.

are people making the case that vaccines are the cause?
They can't be in Germany, only about 12% of the population have even received the first dose. There has been some discussion, that nursing home vaccinations are the reason deaths are now uncoupled from cases, which is probably only partly true.
