This war rhetoric irriates me to no end. It appears like we're at an actual WAR with a virus- which, of course, can never be defeated, only barely contained. However, all of this is somewhat strange, since our dear leaders react to real acts of (asymmetrical) war with appeasement

Given the information, though, that high-ranking generals work for the Ministry of Health, this charade seems more and more like a widesperad exercise in "biosecurity", pandemic management with military means. Obvious, looking at the employed methods.
