Variants, reinfection, vaccine escape, long Covid etc: People talk about these possibilities like they‘re unique to Corona. It isn’t a magical pathogen guys. All of this applies equally well to influenza & other viruses, but you‘re only being asked to worry in this case.

Yes, Corona will mutate, it will escape naturally acquired immunity and our vaxx, in some patients it will cause lasting pulmonary damage Influenza also does all of those things. There are a lot of viruses that infect humans. Corona is nowhere near the most dangerous or damaging

Arguably we could somewhat reduce pressure on Corona to escape vaxx by confining the vaxx to old & vulnerable and letting the virus have its go at everyone else.
