Have you personally ever significantly benefitted from positive "alternative" nutritional advice? I've tried all kinds of supplements (vitamins, Magnesium, blackseed oil, raw eggs, etc.), but differences in diet don't seem to influence health or personal energy at all.

In the context of sport, yes. I’m not sure how alternative the advice is, but iron supplements (or a lot of chicken livers) during high volume training are useful, above about 100km/week there are substantial improvements to be had simply by carefully managing macronutrients.

What does eating a bunch of chicken livers help with?
