Why does Fauci appear periodically and make stupid statements like these. Is it probing the public to see what further CDC recommendations might be objects of moral excitement? Is he just talking out of his ass during media interviews?
(Anyone who has watched a group of small masked children can immediately appreciate how hygenically useless and perhaps even unhealthy it is. they’re kids.)
I do suspect there’s some deliberate media PR strategy that involves using him on the ‘Sunday political shows’ for messaging, trial balloons, etc. The DC health establishment is probably under the impression he is universally beloved and this an asset in messaging.
