Almost all Corona infections happen indoors, and yet every country enamoured of mass containment insists that people spend inordinate amounts of time indoors and places heavy restrictions on going outside.

regulations against going outside have not had any meaningful impact on Corona mortality, so I’m not sure what alternative policies are called for. how about ‘none’

you misunderstood. my point was that having a policy of "don't go outside unless you only go outside and not enter any other space and don't stay too close to too many people" is not enforceable. nuance is impossible with public policy. hence it's just "don't go outside".

you are inventing a rationale for German containment policies that the policies themselves do not have.
