It's almost like the influenza has been rebranded as corona.
They're still testing for flu, just not finding it. My crazy theory is that corona has outcompeted it somehow

I'm not sure that's even possible. You can have a superinfection with multiple viruses including multiple strains of the same virus.

Indeed, the mechanism isn't clear, but influenza transmission is complex and poorly understood. Something has disturbed its ecology somehow. It's the only explanation for why flu is absent even in places without any Corona restrictions
