I do indeed think that the new measures are meant to politically ,reap’ the natural decline of the virus in April and May. They will pretend it was them who stopped Covid.

yes, also, there is an effort to force some baseline number of vaccinations. but their power disappears as case numbers fall. they have 2-3 weeks. then it is over for them.
