the account‘s runners are obviously nervous that it‘s being observed. @ pro_lockdown (single underscore) and @ yestolockdown , run by the same people, have been protected since i first tweeted about their little spam operation.

I noticed that too. key, I think, maybe be accounts that interact with its tweets (ie, like or retweet them). before the single-underscore pro_lockdown account went protected there was some mutual support like that.
