      what happens if they basically get everyone (who can be) vaccinated, but the Wuhan virus still consistently just keeps printing a baseline level of 20-30k 'new cases' per day we just keep the 'emergency' going forever right? masks forever, right?

      It’s going to reach endemic equilibrium (wherever that shakes out). This arrogant technocratic bullcrap did not contain it, and will not stop it, just alter some timing. And destroy many peoples’ lives, while feeling smart doing it.

      it's not just that they're wrong - they're doubling-down on how wrong they are and really digging in. as if "yes, let's change every aspect of our society in an arrogant effort to cancel death!" is easier than "it's time to live with it and move on." the hubris is stunning.
