It's just insane, how our entire understanding of Corona is structured by this a priori faith in lockdowns. Because mass containment affects everyone, Corona has to present a threat to everyone. Because even the immune get locked down, we must believe in reinfection.
Because even the low-risk demographics like kids get locked down, they must be a problem somehow. If the problem isn't that they kill grandmother (it is now clear to most everyone that they don't), it has to be that Long Covid is indeed insanely dangerous for them.
