AZ doesn’t work well and is dangerous too. If they vaccinated that population with AZ I think at best you’ll see a 50% drop in cases in that population and maybe not even that.
Nursing home residents are now all vaxxed in DE. That was half of all serious cases/deaths. Explain to me then why our target metrics aren’t at least doubled. A 7-day incidence of 100 should be the old 50. Or aren’t the vaccines worth anything?

This seems to assume that ‘target metrics’ were originally calibrated to something tangible, or some transparently-stated risk-tolerance, rather than pulled out of thin air. If they were just made-up there’s no reason to change them now.
