Peoples perception of risk has become so disoriented over the past year. It's maddening. The real danger to children isn't covid; it's people like this trying to impose their insane delusions on them.

teachers in vulnerable demos could obv be furloughed, but for all the under-50s (and particularly women in the 50s-65/70) it’s an influenza-level risk. masking kids ofc is a ridiculous alternative, as the masks do nothing to protect teachers anyway.

thanks for tip. A big part of this is also very obviously the old and miserable resenting the fitness and health of the young So many pandemic restrictions are abt keeping healthy young people isolated, at home & inactive - just like the cheerless bats who demand these policies
