Lockdowns determine Science. Politicians want lockdowns, and so Science will speak of nothing but Long Covid, reinfections, and B117. As soon as politicians no longer want lockdowns, Science will finally shut up about these stupid things. But not a minute before.

I am saying Science can‘t, and doesn‘t even want to. lowercase science can yield useful observations to some degree, in a vastly more limited and culturally bound way than is generally appreciated.
mass containment is obviously not based on any science or research; western epidemiology excluded containment as a response to a pandemic event of Corona‘s severity. it was promoted for superficial political reasons by the WHO and adopted by incompetent western politicians.
