It’s crazy how many times I have to call a number on my iPhone, hang up immediately, go to recent calls, find the #, all to message that person. If next iOS update just adds messaging as an option in the phone number modal I will weep.pic.twitter.com/9JsanuGrHC

The worst is when the call lags and you can't hang up immediately, and hope they didn't get a missed call.

It’s as if these guys have never tried exchanging numbers. So bizarre. A contacts QR or airdrop would be even better. Should absolutely be a baked in version of Bump.

God forbid you might want to copy that number and paste it somewhere.

The iPhone is a great computer in one's hand. It is a sub-par phone though.

Uh, just press and hold on any number instead of tapping to get that modal? Easy enough, no?pic.twitter.com/L7CyVzbUSV

Just hold your touch on the number for like 2 secs, and a menu will pop up that lets you send a message directly without the call/hang up thing

Also just go to messaging and type in the number in the “to” field. My gripe is that leaving someone a FaceTime video message should be frictionless.
