Let me make this perfectly clear. I absolutely oppose the Trump supporters who have stormed the US Capitol and broken the law. We must send the National Guard to disperse the crowd peacefully. But under no circumstances should any violent force be used against American citizens.
If these were Black Lives Matter protestors, Trump would have the police and National Guard shoot rubber bullets, tear gas, and beat people with batons until they got bloody or unconscious. But two wrongs don’t make a right. We need a peaceful resolution here for our country.
