I feel like it's extremely important to also remind everyone that, Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard for defamation, which means that in order to do so, he has to PROVE HE'S TELLING THE TRUTH. He would be making a joke of himself if he was lying, he couldn't prove it to court lol.

To be fair, all we’ve seen is his complaint. Not saying it’s false, but it’s just one sides versions of events. There’s been no trial, no evidence has been scrutinized by a court. That said, press should be responsible & be clear what is established fact & what is not.

Right, but a complaint is just an allegation. There’s been no trial. No finding. Honestly, defamation is really hard to prove & few atty’s would have brought a case unless they had something. But it’s important to distinguish between a complaint & an a judicial determination.

We have no idea if the evidence he says he has is reliable or really conclusive. I mean, they might think it makes it clear she’s lying & a jury might think it’s vague. Either way, i’m sure all that will eventually leak and we’ll all come to our own conclusions

Pointing out that a complaint isn’t evidence. It’s one sides account. You can say whatever you want in it. Not saying he’s lying, just that it lacks context. Often seen statements in a complaint that look damning as hell & when you read the actual transcript it falls flat.

The police always said they found no evidence of abuse. That should’ve been taken into consideration before writing articles like that.
