Will EU condemn argument of force?
For EU nothing changes. Spain remains our only interlocutor. I hope the Spanish government favours force of argument, not argument of force.

Against illegal undemocratic actions? Like stealing or tax fraud? I hope so. Agains illegally breaking a country? I also hope so.

Former ministers of the (very corrupt) party of pm Rajoy are in jail. Others we hope will follow. Not an excuse for breaking other laws.

I'm not saying it's an excuse at all. I can respect that the referendum may have been illegal but judges are placed by the PP so it is not clear. I also think that violence was not the way to fix it. There have been opportunities to talk. I'm sure all this couldve been avoided.

You’re probably right. Judges are not really “Placed” by PP. It’s more complicated than that. And any 1stY Law student can say it is illegal

Argument has failed, and Catalonia has made a democratic choice. EU should, and must, recognise that, or politically it risks irrelevance.
