How is that taking back control of your borders Andrew? That's an open and uncontrolled EU-UK border EU , an open border that can be used for immigration & uncontrolled trade, as well as a gateway for all sorts of criminal behaviour. Then just a short trip from Belfast to Britain

The EU needs to protect the SM&CU. Otherwise trade partners could block our EU exports to their territory. In the end it's Britains decision to make the British border in Ireland to an external EU border, with all consequences.
